Article directories clearly say that when reprinting an article, the authors resource box must remain untouched including the link. The resource box is one of the crucial pieces of your article marketing strategy. It is what will bring a person to your website, increase your readers and eventually your sales.

Your resource box should contain enough information to attract readers’ interest, and have a clear call to action that will suggest them to click on your link for more info. 3. Have at least one link, much more if allowed. See the resource box guidlines for each directory to know what you are permitted to include. Many websites allow one link, some two. Make sure to include as many links as you can.

4. A strong call to action is a real requirement. Have a statement which notifies the reader what they will get when they click on your hyperlink and how it will support their lives. For instance, “Download Joe’s free article now for more ways to earn money in your sleep!”

5. Answer the crucial question. When crafting your resource box, think about the question all visitors ask (if just subconsciously)… “What’s In It For Me?” (WIIFM).

6. Create a different resource box to fit every piece of writing that you create. If the article is about home interior, then draft your resource box to connect to that with a suitable offer and link. If the next content is about tool selection, direct your resource box in that way. Start a file of resource boxes to help you to add an appropriate one without having to recreate it each time.

The resource box is your option to tell the viewer what you have in store and what they should do then. If you can show a viewer what they will make by clicking on your link, you’re virtually assured to build your website visitors with the articles you create.
