Am I the only one that hates golfing?  My co-workers want to have a &#8220;team building&#8221; event (nice to get out of the office, but all lessons learned are forgotten once you go back in, in my opinion) with a golf outing, and I think golfing blows.  Only because I am really bad at it.</p>
<p>And they won&#8217;t leave me alone!  They keep talking about &#8220;the social&#8221; aspect of it which is a bunch of crap because once you get out there, everyone takes their scores seriously and you are forever branded as the crappy golfer who let the whole nation down.</p>
<p>What are your thoughts on either golf or team building events?<br />
It&#8217;s not free, I have to pay $  30.</p>
<p>Oh well, they&#8217;re about to find out how bad I really am at the game!</p>

<p><i>Answer by De Marenhide</i><br/>Golf might be nice if it&#8217;s free!  I can&#8217;t see any other way anyone could convince me to play it otherwise whether it&#8217;s a team building exercise or not.  Still, playing golf has to be better than watching golf.</p>
