What if I hate to golf?
Question by Kiss My Shaz: What if I hate to golf?
Am I the only one that hates golfing? My co-workers want to have a “team building” event (nice to get out of the office, but all lessons learned are forgotten once you go back in, in my opinion) with a golf outing, and I think golfing blows. Only because I am really bad at it.
And they won’t leave me alone! They keep talking about “the social” aspect of it which is a bunch of crap because once you get out there, everyone takes their scores seriously and you are forever branded as the crappy golfer who let the whole nation down.
What are your thoughts on either golf or team building events?
It’s not free, I have to pay $ 30.
Oh well, they’re about to find out how bad I really am at the game!

Answer by De Marenhide
Golf might be nice if it’s free! I can’t see any other way anyone could convince me to play it otherwise whether it’s a team building exercise or not. Still, playing golf has to be better than watching golf.
